Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA 2.0)
MBSA helps to improve your security management process by detecting common security misconfigurations and
missing security updates on your computer systems. When used by one of our experienced security professionals,
this tool can find most Microsoft Windows desktop and server security holes – but this tool does not scan
non-Microsoft systems or programs and it does not scan the perimeter (outside) of your network. We recommend
the use of MBSA as a first step in the vulnerability scanning process.
